Stuart has served as Past President (1994) of the local Home Builders Association (HBA) (20th largest in the nation at that time), given seminars at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) convention, taught continuing education classes for the local Realtor Association, and has been a beta tester for the software that our company uses. His expertise is respected by friends and associates alike.

Community Involvement / Participation

• Former Scoutmaster - Boy Scouts of America - Troop 100
• Active Leader at Edenton St. United Methodist Church - various positions including Chair of Trustees ($7 million complex), Chair of Council on Ministries overseeing over 100 lay ministries in the church, Finance Committee
• Speaker for Career Day (home builder) - Carnage Middle School, Raleigh  

Ruth's undergraduate degree is in Statistics and she has a Masters of Science in Management. She has taught accounting at the college level and was assistant manager of the support department for the company whose software we use. She has also been a speaker at the NAHB convention and her expertise has been sought out by other builders in the Raleigh area.
